Danielle Mitten has found Boise, Idaho to be a sweet place to fall in love with art throughout her life. Since 2017, they have found themself immersed in a growing community of passionate creators who have played a significant role in helping them find their artistic voice. Since the start of 2024, Danielle has begun working as a full-time freelance artist. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Boise State University, she possesses a strong foundation in art theory and practice, complemented by a diverse range of experiences in the field of art, including teaching, painting murals, participating in art markets, and hosting both solo and collaborative art shows and events.

Danielle has developed a hand-drawn and versatile art style that works in harmony with her love for large-scale projects, storytelling, ceramics, and textiles, showcasing her adaptability across mediums. While her art exudes sweet silliness, she uses it earnestly to build community and pursue activism, with a deep appreciation for representing the diversity of the human form. Danielle's work serves as a heartfelt thank-you note to friends, color, and the magic of Sunday picnics in the park.

In 2024 she started directing a successful event called GRRL RAVE with the help of a talented group of friends. It is an all women and queer multi media event. She is in love with this project.

Currently, Danielle is busy drafting plans for their upcoming events, managing a handful of personal commissions, maintaining a steady flow of illustrations, and embarking on the creation of a new line of ceramics. A big goal of hers is to bring her paints to other parts of the world.

She is also learning to DJ. :)
